The 1st Annual TWP Baseball Color Run was a success and everyone enjoyed themselves.  We had nearly all of our 200 registered runners take part in the run/walk with a few “day-of” registrants as well, with everyone getting plenty of coloring.  There was a DJ, bouncy house and photographer capturing all of the fun before, during and after the race.  Prizes were given out to the top 3 fundraisers as well as other prizes to those who were there.  The pizza party was won by Coach Paxson’s 11u Minutemen Red team by raising over $1,100, great job!  Thank you to everyone who helped us exceed our first year goal.

We hope to make it even bigger and better next year and hope to see you there with your family and friends.

Thank you for helping our program with this fundraiser and I speak for the rest of the Baseball Advisory Board in saying great job!  Be sure to check out the pictures and download what you like.

The Sand Gnats captured the 9-10 intramural championship defeating the Muckdogs 11-6.  The Sand Gnats are coached by Dwayne Gauthier and are sponsored by Furlow Associates, Inc.

The 10U Washington Twp Minutemen Red won the 2016 Delran Summer Slugfest Tournament on Sunday evening coming from 7 runs down to defeat a tough Medford Renegades team in the final by a score of 10-9.  The Minutemen went 4-0 in the tournament outscoring their 4 opponents 59-23. All 11 players made key contributions throughout the tournament. This win highlights an outstanding season by the Minutemen who have worked extremely hard all season. Congratulations Boys! Well Done!

WT 9u Blue just finished its Spring/Summer season, and what a season it was! The team posted a winning record in the Tri State Elite League, playing against some of the tougher club teams in South Jersey. In addition, the team ran off four straight lopsided wins to earn the championship in WT’s own Memorial Weekend Tournament.

All of this prepared the squad for its post-season run in the Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken Division Tournament trail. The squad won the SNJ District 3 Tournament Championship, going undefeated to take the title.

In the SNJ State Tournament, the 9u Minutemen were up against the best town-based travel teams in the State. The team played excellent baseball, finishing 3rd among the 12 teams who qualified for States.

By virtue of that performance, the boys qualified for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament, featuring 10 of the best 9u Cal Ripken teams from NJ, DE, NY, PA and MD. This is as far as possible for 9u teams to advance in the Ripken Tournament trail.

The team played it’s heart out in Regionals, losing a couple very close games to just miss reaching the Quarterfinals. It was a great experience for the boys. Job well done by the coaches and players, pictured here!

Attn Twp Baseball boys,

As a part of the 2017 Chevy Youth Baseball Program, participants in your league will be able to participate in an instructional clinic with the Philadelphia Phillies.  Participation is free, courtesy of your sponsoring Chevrolet dealer.

Clinic registration begins promptly at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 31 exclusively on our website:  www.chevroletbaseball.com
On the site, please click on the “Clinics” tab at the top to access registration. In order to keep these clinics exclusive to our sponsored leagues, no information will be provided on the clinic section of the website prior to the posted registration time.
Parents can register their children (ages 6-12) at the registration time.  There is limited space for the clinics so registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Once a clinic is full, interested participants will still be allowed to sign up for that clinic but will be put on a waiting list.  If spots open up, they will be filled from the waiting list in the order in which they were registered.
